At Family Fund we help families. Last year, we provided 88,407 grants and services to families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people in the UK, worth over £33 million.
Our Annual Review 17/18, highlights the continued support we have provided families in the past year, and the impact that our grants and services have had on families across the UK.
Some of last year’s key statistics include:
- Family Fund received, and considered, 84,932 applications from families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.
- A total of 2,427 families received urgent help within 48 hours through our urgent referrer network, intended to help those faced with unexpected financial crises.
- Over 950,000 people were reached via phone calls, social media, events and our website.
- £3.3million of additional income was generated through contracted suppliers and negotiating contracts.
